02. Tourist Attractions
Scienceworks is a place for young people to play with science. We linked Melbourne’s industry, heritage and applied technology in one place: a new building looking across the arena to the century-old Pumping Station, all under the grand arc of the West Gate Bridge.
Today, Scienceworks is bursting with things to challenge curious minds of all ages. In just one visit, you can stroll among the gigantic machines that kept the city running, enjoy electrifying theatre in the Lightning Room, let your little ones roam safely in enclosed spaces, wander through our immersive exhibitions and drop into deep space in the Melbourne Planetarium.

Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park is situated in Pearcedale, Victoria on remnant and rehabilitated bushland. Moonlit Sanctuary Park is dedicated to the conservation of Australian wildlife and wild habitats, educating visitors and the broader community with their educational programs. Activities include meeting endangered species, feeding kangaroos and wallabies, cuddling koalas and enjoying encounters with colourful birds, reptiles and dingoes.
At night, Moonlit Sanctuary comes alive with lantern-lit tours.
Night birds are active, tiny feathertail gliders and giant yellow-bellied gliders swoop around, and endangered quolls, pademelons and bettongs forage for food.

06. Cultural Tourism
When the Old Melbourne Gaol was built in the mid-1800s, it dominated the Melbourne skyline as a symbol of authority. Inside the Gaol, dangerous criminals were held alongside petty offenders, the homeless and the mentally ill.
The experience involves various night tours of the Old Melbourne Gaol, the Old Magistrates Court and the city watch.
07. Aboriginal & Torres Strait Island Tourism
Famous for its rugged mountains, spectacular waterfalls, wildflowers, wildlife and Aboriginal rock art sites – this Park is unique among Australia’s national parks. This is where you will discover the Park’s exceptional environment and Aboriginal culture.
It is where you will find the very best information and interpretation of the Grampians National Park (Gariwerd) only 3hrs west of Melbourne.

Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB) is a not-for-profit organisation with over 40 years’ experience in securing international and national conferences, incentive travel reward programs and other business events for the state of Victoria by working with associations, corporate organisations and event planners from around the world.

14. Destination Marketing
Destination Gippsland is the Regional Tourism Board and the peak tourism organisation for the region in eastern Victoria. We were established in 2008 with the support of Tourism Victoria, Parks Victoria and the six member councils of the Gippsland Local Government Network. We are a not for profit public company governed by a skills based board and supported by staff and committees focused on Marketing, Industry Development, Infrastructure Strategy and Finance.
