Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre at Melbourne Museum
Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre is a collaboration between Victoria’s First Peoples and Melbourne Museum, where visitors experience the world’s oldest living cultures, histories and knowledge.
Visitors immerse themselves in First Peoples living cultures, collections and stories, in the Milarri Garden guides point out plants that are traditional food and medicinal sources.
Bunjilaka is located on the Country of the Woi Wurrung and Boon Wurrung peoples – custodians for thousands of generations. It tells the story of survival, and shares our vibrant cultures through powerful storytelling and artwork, providing visitors with genuine experiences and a deeper connection to Victoria.
