Name: Sue O’Donoghue
Sue O’Donoghue is owner of Green Olive at Red Hill, a food tourism business located one hour from Melbourne, at Red Hill, in the beautiful wine-growing region of the Mornington Peninsula.
Green Olive at Red Hill is a whole farm experience. Growing olives, grapes, herbs and veggies; raising sheep and chooks as well as using fresh produce from local farmers to create a range of food, wine and body products in addition to a wide range of farm experiences.
Sue has a passion for good food, wine and travel, a Post Graduate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, and fifteen years experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. She is involved in all aspects of the business including product development, marketing and retail, as well as maintaining quality systems and a positive experience for all visitors.
Sue has written three award submissions for the business and has been successful at both state and national levels.
Since 2011, Sue has been involved with RDA (Riding for Disabled Association) at both a local and state level. She sits on the RDA Peninsula Committee in the role of secretary, marketing and promotions and on the RDA Victoria Board as Secretary. RDA has over 30 centres across Victoria with over 1,100 riders and is an organisation giving people with disability the freedom to take the reins.
