Jacquie Prentice is the Owner of Float Projects, a consultancy practice in the Hospitality Industry. With over 20 years experience in Hotels, Jacquie specialises in project management, facilities management and the representation of Owners in overseeing the operational success, asset utilisation and marketing of Hotels and Resorts.
Progressing from general management to development, Jacquie incorporates the benefit of her experience in operational and people management to her current project work, now more focused on refurbishment, development and asset management.
Float Projects has recently incorporated an interior decorating and styling division for both commercial and residential property.
Jacquie’s marketing experience in Hotels over the past 20 years and passion for branding has resulted in many successful project outcomes and award winning recognition. Jacquie has written several award winning State and National Tourism Award submissions, including Hall of Fame. She has participated in the Tourism Awards as an entrant, State and National judge for over 15 years.
Jacquie’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Hospitality Management, Graduate Diploma of Business Hospitality Management and Advanced Management Program from Melbourne Business School.
She remains an active contributor to the Hospitality Industry representing VTIC as Chair of Judges in 2018 and as past Vice President and National Board Member of HMAAV.
