Business Excellence Workshops with a twist
This year, the Victoria Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) has partnered with the Tourism Events & the Visitor Economy (TEVE) Branch of State Government to present a new twist to our workshop series. These sessions were designed to inform businesses on how to get the most out of the resources and programs that are available, giving an edge in their engagement strategies with customers.
Topics that were explored….
- Who is VTIC and why should you get connected? ….. An overview of VTIC, what we do on behalf of the industry and how this can benefit your business
- How you can achieve business excellence through the 2019 RACV Victorian Tourism Awards …. Discover how entering the Victorian Tourism Awards can help you in driving excellence throughout your business
- Who is TEVE and how can you benefit from their expertise and services? …. Learn about the resources and tools that are available to you through this division of government
- Understanding the effect of tech disruption …. TEVE will be presenting on how the introduction of new technologies has disrupted – and will continue to disrupt – the tourism industry in many ways. It has changed the way operators target travellers, it has challenged existing service offerings and is forcing a re-imagining of the visitor experience and end-to-end visitor journey.
Six workshops (in Creswick, Healesville, Inverloch, Melbourne, Shepparton and Torquay) were delivered in May and June.
