2017 Awards Update
2017 RACV Victorian Tourism Awards – Now Open!
VTIC is pleased to announce that entry for the 2017 RACV Victorian Tourism Awards is now open. There has been a delay in opening this year while the Australian Tourism Industry Council (who manages the Tourism Awards nationally) has been busy developing a new online entry portal. For past entrants, this will mean formatting rules related to the .pdf submission process will no longer apply and the entry process will become remarkably easier.
In 2017, there will be a maximum 12,500 word limit (unless stated) and 25 image upload to respond to the criteria across a range of business categories. As a first step in entering, entrants are encouraged to download and read the Rules for Entry and Changes in 2017 located on RACV Victorian Tourism Awards website.
First-time entrants can apply through their regional tourism board for a project officer that can support them through the entire process of entering. Workshops will be conducted in late May and throughout June across the state, and will be free to attend.
VTIC is again offering mentor support and applications can be made via the Awards website.
Save the date for the Gala Ceremony which is scheduled for Thursday 23 November at Crown. The 2016 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards will be held in Perth in early 2017 (date TBC).
