Since RACV was formed as an automobile club more than a century ago it has been closely aligned with Victoria’s tourism industry. Touring the state’s regions was then, as it is today, a pleasurable activity for RACV members. Today RACV makes a direct contribution to the state’s tourism industry as a progressive and proud industry member, dedicated to providing its two million plus members with quality products and services. RACV’s developing network of Victorian holiday resorts – Inverloch, Cobram, Cape Schanck and Torquay – is, along with the RACV City Club and Country Club at Healesville, and other tourism initiatives, making a significant contribution to the state’s economy and regional development. RACV is proud of its on-going commitment to Victoria’s Tourism Industry and the Victorian Tourism Awards. RACV has been a partner of the Victorian Tourism Awards for the past 14 years.
