General Manager Stakeholder Relations, V/Line

Paul has been involved with the tourism and transport sectors for more than 20 years.

He has been a past entrant with the world famous City Circle Tram taking out a major Victorian Tourism Award in 1997 in the General Tourism category and again as a finalist in 1998.

Paul is currently the General Manager Stakeholder Relations at V/Line where he is responsible for marketing, business development communications, customer feedback and community relations.

Previously Paul worked as the Head of Marketing for Yarra Trams since 1997 to 2009 being responsible for innovation and growth of the tram business.  Some of Paul's achievements included the development of tramTRACKER real time tram arrival product, sustainability measures including the Green Depot concept and the "Love your trams" brand.  Prior to this, Paul held management roles in the travel agency and the interstate coach sector.

Paul is a past Metlink board member with Yarra Trams and current alternate Director representing V/Line.  Metlink provides improved network-wide customer information about services, tickets and fares.

Prior to commencing at V/Line in 2010, Paul started a tourism and transport consultancy, ttchoice specialising in business development, sustainability marketing and innovation.  During this time, Paul managed a number of projects for Tourism Victoria and Destination Melbourne including a review of Integrated Visitor Transport in Melbourne.

Paul is a retired judge of the Victorian Tourism Awards and National Tourism Awards and in his fourth year of mentoring for the awards.
