Manager Tourism Services – Flagstaff Hill Precinct

Finishing a Bachelor of Business he chased the snow for two seasons by working at Falls Creek and in Canada at a range of winter and summer
resorts. Returning to Australia to work at Cradle Mountain Lodge, Crown Casino and Avis Rent a Car he also worked at Melbourne Exhibition and
Convention Centre as the Event Operations Manager.

Taking a tree change to Mount Gambier to be the Regional Tourism Manager Limestone Coast Tourism for 3 years before moving to the good city of
Warrnambool as the Warrnambool City Council Tourism Services.

This role oversees Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village, Surfside Holiday Parks and the Warrnambool Visitor Information Centre. In the 4 years at Warrnambool, Flagstaff Hill has won 4 Victorian Tourism Awards and a Museums Australia Award.

Currently finishing a Masters Tourism Management he a great supporter of the awards process that provides all tourism operators with the opportunity
to examine their operations and develop ways to improve business, staff and community support.

This is Peter's second year on the VTA judging panel.
