Project Manager, Business, Innovation & Technology, Sustainability Victoria

Julie O'Brien is the Program Manager for Industry Partnerships at Sustainability Victoria and has been working on sustainable tourism initiatives in collaboration with Tourism Victoria for the last two years. She is an active member of the Sustainable Tourism Partnership managed by Tourism Victoria.

Previous roles in Ireland and the UK include working for an overseas reef and rainforest expeditions group and implementing sustainable practices to reduce environmental impacts for a range of small and medium sized business types including hotels, restaurants and B&Bs. She is passionate about the environment, nature and travel to interesting and beautiful places.

Qualifications include B.Sc. Marine & Freshwater Biology and M.Sc. Environmental Science.
