Owner, The Mansfield Regional Produce Store

Dean has over 30 years experience in the Australian tourism industry, with over 20 of those in the ski industry. Currently based in Mansfield in the Victorian High Country, Dean and his wife Gillian own and operate the highly successful Mansfield Regional Produce Store. In addition to the store, Dean has his own consulting business specialising in tourism, hospitality and marketing.

Deans' background includes having been Assistant General Manager for Mt Buller Ski Lifts, CEO of Tourism Tamworth (NSW) and lessee of the historic Mt Buffalo Chalet and Mt Buffalo ski area for 9 years. In earlier years Dean gained experience in tourism and hospitality in Sydney, Jindabyne, Thredbo and Austria.

His involvement on various tourism boards, attendance at events like the 2020 Summit and an ongoing involvement at the Australian Tourism Exchange means that he brings a wealth of experience and insight to our judging panel.

This is Dean's second year as a judge.
