The Alpine Ambassadors, as the Myrtleford Visitor Information Centre (VIC) Volunteers are known; plant the seeds that etch the memories on the hearts of visitors daily. They have driven the centre and the Tourism Industry contributing over 3000 hours annually sharing their smiles and local knowledge to visitors, they are the unsung heroes of the Alpine Shire’s Tourism Industry. This nomination recognises five years of exceptional work that has led to an increase in visitation through the Myrtleford VIC and recognition of Myrtleford as a true tourist destination.
