The Bendigo Visitor Centre is forging an Australian leadership role in the delivery of innovative visitor servicing programs; building the capacity of local tourism businesses; is the central hub for local and regional tourism activity and actively drives business online. The Centre engages 60 local volunteers and 7FTE staff to welcome over 111,000 visitors who passed through its doors, whilst up-selling Bendigo and contributing $2million directly into the local tourism economy through accommodation, tour and retail sales.
