2011 Tourism Legends Luncheon

The second Tourism Legends Luncheon was held on Thursday 4 August at Angliss Restaurant, William Angliss Institute.

We would like to thank Nicholas Hunt, Chief Executive Officer, William Angliss Institute for hosting this luncheon which acknowledged the winners of the Outstanding Contribution by an Individual category at the Victorian Tourism Awards over the last 26 years. 

This event was an opprotunity for past winners to network with members of the tourism fraternity while helping to promote the awards to prospective entrants.

This luncheon is held annually.

The third VTA Alumni Function was held on Thursday 28 April at Society Restaurant, Bourke Street Melbourne.  A great night was had by all who attended.  This is a great networking function.

The Alumni dinners/functions are for Hall of Fame Winners, past and present Mentors and Judges to ensure you stay in touch with others from within the tourism industry and help promote the awards to potential entrants.

Hall of Fame Winners, Judges and Mentors are a valued part of the unique Victorian Tourism Awards Alumni.

The 2nd Alumni Dinner was held on Thursday 2 December 2010.  We had 20 people attend this dinner, again it was held at Red Spice Road, as it seemed to be a favourite for everyone.

We endeavour to hold two VTA Alumni functions a year.
