The Bendigo Visitor Centre is forging a leadership role in Australian visitor servicing, through innovative programs and positioning the Bendigo Visitor Centre as the central portal for local and regional tourism activity. The Centre engages 60 local volunteers and almost 6FTE staff to welcome over 100,000 visitors per year who pass through its doors, whilst up-selling Bendigo and contributing $1.83m to the local tourism industry through accommodation, tour and retail sales.
